Snow Day

Yesterday we had the biggest snow storm. I think we got a few feet! When I arrived home from work, I was so happy to see that our neighbors son had plowed our driveway with their quad. Well, not to say that I was ungrateful, but he had only plowed enough that I could barely get my car into the driveway. Then I had to squeeze out of my car. So needless to say there was a lot more shoveling to do. So I took Rian inside, and went back out to shovel. Rian was not happy about that. I could hear her pounding on the front door. So then I got this idea. I came inside and put Rian in her snowsuit. Then we waded through the deep snow to the shed and found her little bobsled. So I pulled her around the driveway, and we even ventured across the street to say hi to Catherine. She had a blast!! John came home from work during our adventure (which was great, because he then helped shovel the rest of the driveway.) All in all it was a fun adventure and, of coarse, Rian cried when we had to go back inside. Even though she was red cheeked and freezing. We did have some yummy mint hot chocolate, which was a perfect way to end our SNOW DAY!

Missionary Training Center

About a week ago we took my brother to the MTC in Provo. It was so much fun to see everyone. We went to the Brick Oven for lunch, and then headed over to the MTC. What a great experience! It was great to see Garrett as a young man, and not just the little brother that I remember. They just grow up so fast. Especially if you don't see them everyday. I know that he will be a great missionary. He is going to the Tijuana, Mexico Mission. Here are a few pictures from our day...
