Gunnar at 6 months

Today my Gunnar is 6 months!! I know that's what I said! The last 6 months have been so amazingly wonderful with Gunnar in our lives. He is the happiest baby that I know of. A few things to know about this handsome boy...

1. He loves his mommy (believe me ask anyone who has tried to feed him with a bottle!)
2. He is definitely a snuggler, which I love! and this includes his love for his blankets.
3. Just started solid foods. Loves pears, hates butternut squash
4. Can roll over
5. Sits up with support
6. Laughs at Rian constantly (they laugh at each other, which makes them laugh even more!)
7. Bright blue eyes, fuzzy blonde hair
8. Weighs 15 lbs, almost 25 inches tall (only in the 10th and 5th percentiles)
9. Loves his swing for naptime
10. Looks just like his daddy

Happy 1/2 Birthday Gunnar!

With Love, Mommy

Benefit Concert For Natalie

Dear Friends and Family,

The following is a letter about a benefit concert for my dear friend Natalie Jolley She is 22 years old and has Ewings Sarcoma, a rare junvenile bone cancer. If you can go and support her that would be awesome. I have added her blog on my blog list if you would like to go take a look for those who do not know Nat. The letter is written by Natalie's Mom Marjean.

Love, Jennie

I want to give you all a heads up on a really exciting event happening on Friday, August 6th. I don't know how many of you know who Brooke White is. She is an amazing young woman with an amazing talent . She was on American Idol the year the two David's took first and second. She took 5th place. She is from California and is coming to perform at Barker Park in North Ogden. The tickets are $10.00 and all proceeds go to Natalie. I can't tell you how excited we are that Brooke would come do this for Natalie. I should have more info by the end of the week for those who want to purchase tickets. Will you please spread the word everywhere in your world. We want to get it out on facebook and Brooke has a twitter that we will be able to get the word out on too.

I have created a blog about Natalie so that people who don't know her will be able to learn a little about her. Soon there will be links on her blog to Brooke's website and tickets. If you are interested in reading Natalie's blog the address is: www.sweetandsassyasnatty.blogspot.com.

We love you all. Thanks for your support.

Much Love,

Marjean

Swimming with Friends

Last Thursday was such a nice day that my friends Cassie, Erin and I decided to go to the new splash pad in Riverdale. It was free, we wouldn't have to swim with the babies, and it was the perfect day. Too bad there was so many people and the water was freezing that our little girls (Rian, Hallie, and Evelyn) wouldn't get in the water. They were totally bummed because they all wanted to go swimming and they were already in their suits. So Cassie called in a favor to her parents and we went up to their house to swim in the pool. Thanks McFarland's you saved the day! We had a blast! It was Gunnar's first time swimming and he didn't seem to mind it at all. He actually fell asleep toward the end. He was so tired. We had such a good time and I always love hanging with my friends. It is so nice to have kids the same ages who love to play together. Thanks girls for the fun time!

Gunnar's Plaid Shirt

Yesterday I decided to take some pictures of Gunnar in this plaid shirt that I LOVE! He barely fits into it and I think this will be the last day that he wears it (bummer). So I had to have a photo shoot! Please Enjoy!

Gunnar kept licking his arm so I had to get a few pictures of that!

Love this hat!

Rian's Kissy Face

I love this picture!

I had to sing 'ring around the rosies' to get Rian to smile. I was sitting in the grass and she would run around me and when I said "and they all fall down" she would plop down and smile. It was quite comical really and now I have pictures where her eyes are open AND she is smiling!
