New Carseat Canopy!

Back at it again! I have been sewing like crazy lately. This one turned out so cute. I am now debating on making some more to sell at my mother-in-laws boutiques coming up in October. If you are interested in one let me know. I sell them for $40-$50 dollars, depending on the embellishments.

Here is my latetest car seat canopy creation. It was made for my sister who is expecting a girl in October. We had the best time looking for the perfect fabric and I have to say it is one of my favorites! Now her baby can shop in style!

Sold! (My First Car Seat Cover)

I have been sewing up a storm ever since I decided to make car seat canopys. They have turned out so cute. I have become quite a little seamstress (and I don't even sew.) They are so fun to make. I took some of them to our last family reunion. We have an auction each year to raise money, so I decided to auction off two of them. The Puppy canopy and the Pirate Princess were the tw0 that were won. They seemed to be a great hit. Those who won were giving them away as baby gifts. What a great gift for a baby shower!

The first picture is my Zebra Floral canopy. This one is my first official sale! It will be fun to see when she actually starts using it. (she's still pregnant) I was definately excited to see some benefit of all my hard work. If anyone is interested in one, I can custom make one or you can choose a fabric I already have. Hey everyone!

I have just (almost) finished my first of many car seat covers. These are so cute!! I have seen them everywhere and just love them. What a great idea. Now you never have to worry about losing your blanket again or worry about holding it on your car seat. You can still use your car seat handle. These will shade you baby from the sun and most importantly keep random peoples grubby fingers off of your precious little one. Oh and did I mention that they are so cute. I have a little bit more embellishing to do on this one...I'm putting buttons on the top of the straps to make it more boyish. And for the little girls they will have bows and be super adorable! I'll have to post some more pictures when I truly finish. I am taking orders for these if your interested. Post me a note or email me.
